Dr. Richard E. Strain, M.D.
Dr. Richard Strain is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and the senior partner of the practice who specializes in the treatment of hip and knee arthritis as well as sports injuries. Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Strain was previously the Chief of Sports Medicine at the University of Miami. Dr. Strain is also active in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and serves on the Committee on Professionalism, which is an important regulatory and disciplinary body for orthopaedic surgeons. Words can’t say enough
Words can’t say enough: I was in a severe accident 57+ breaks? I was told I probably be in a body cast for 3-4 months.. then Dr Strain came on the case. After several surgeries that took hours (13 for the first & 6 for the second) was on my road to recovery with NO casts. 6 months later I was walking. Everyday since then I thank God for that man. He alway had time for my questions. Returned phone calls and ALWAYS WENT YHE EXTRA MILE. Over the years I have seen him for other conditions and have referred him numerous times. Every person I’ve referred has been thrilled with Dr and the outcome of their treatment.
Very thankful for Dr. Strain in my life
Have known Dr Strain for decades. He has treated not only me with two hip replacements, but my children and my wife. ACL’s, broken arms, beat up knees, he has always been there with the best in professional care. Always there to answer questions, with an amazing staff, straight talk and good humor. Had my second hip replaced 13 years after the first. Despite being a more complicated procedure, i feel great and it has been a very smooth recovery. Having lived with pain for so long, I am so grateful Dr Strain in my Doctor.
