About Dr. Christopher Wong

Originally from South Florida, Christopher Wong, M.D., FAAOS is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who is fellowship trained in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Lower Extremity Trauma. Dr. Wong attended Carnegie Mellon University where he completed his bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences with a minor in Business Administration. During his time at Carnegie Mellon, Dr. Wong also played Varsity Football. He then attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he earned his degree in medicine. Dr. Wong completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami. To further develop his interests in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Wong then completed an additional fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Lower Extremity Trauma at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida under renowned Drs. Arthur Walling, Michael Clare, and Roy Sanders. Dr. Wong joined Orthopaedic Associates of South Broward in 2014. He served as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Memorial Regional Hospital from May 2019 to May 2021. Dr. Wong has hospital privileges at Memorial facilities (Regional, South, West, and Pembroke), Broward Health Medical Center, and Surgicare of Miramar.
Dr. Wong addresses conditions of the foot and ankle including but not limited to: trauma, deformity correction, sports medicine (cartilage, tendon and ligament conditions), and joint reconstruction. In addition, Dr. Wong also takes Level 1 Trauma Call at Memorial Regional and Memorial South Hospitals where he deals with an array of emergent orthopaedic conditions.
