Dr. Marc N. Ialenti, MD

Dr. Marc Ialenti graduated magna cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross and received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was elected chief resident by his peers and mentors. While at the University of Miami, Dr. Ialenti provided care to the Miami Hurricanes and Miami Marlins. He received fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of California at San Francisco, where he helped provide care to the California Golden Bears and SF Deltas, as well as local high schools.Dr. Ialenti has been the author of several peer-reviewed publications and has won multiple research awards. He has given presentations at orthopaedic conferences across the United States, as well as in Japan and Mexico. He has provided medical coverage at national and international sporting events.Dr. Ialenti specializes in sports medicine, hip arthroscopy, cartilage restoration procedures, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, joint replacement surgery of the shoulder, hip and knee, and fracture management.In his spare time, Dr. Ialenti enjoys running, tennis, golf, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Lauren, and daughters, Abigail and Colette.
